About the role

This position performs operation and maintenance of critical building HVAC and systems including Refrigeration, Air Handlers, Exhaust Fans, Roof Top units, Boilers, and related mechanical/electrical equipment. The role requires troubleshooting problems, performing preventative maintenance, and adjusting the equipment to ensure proper equipment function and required environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repair service work on site utility systems such as Air compressors, Air Handling units, Exhaust Fans, and Roof Top HVAC units.
• Perform basic repairs to HVAC equipment.
• Conduct routine tests and inspections on support equipment including water testing, Chemical inventories, Brine levels, etc.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on other operational equipment as required.
• Assist other mechanics and operators with major repairs and maintenance of building systems and equipment.
• Identify, utilize, and operate tools and equipment associated with mechanical systems while completing JHA and work permits.
• Document all work performed in Computerized Maintenance Management System and communicate regularly with Supervisor and Chief Engineer.
• Order materials, maintain compliance with safety regulations, and ensure proper storage of hazardous materials.
