Building Manager

Duties

• Manages assigned contractual duties as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
• Manages minor renovation and removal construction projects.
• Manages facilities in an energy‑efficient manner through proper control of building systems.
• Maintains health and safety training.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship.
• Successful completion of a background investigation.
• Successful completion of a drug screen.
• Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with Selective Service.
• Full‑time permanent (Career/Career‑Conditional) appointment with a one‑year probationary period.
• Resume limited to two pages; only the first two pages will be reviewed.

Qualifications

You qualify for the GS‑13 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS‑12 level (or equivalent) performing duties such as:

• Providing technical support and advice on building operations, maintenance, repair, and alteration programs.
• Advising agency management on optional use of building facilities.
• Monitoring the building automation system.

Volunteer experience (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) is counted toward the required experience. There is no education substitution for this grade level.

Pay

The salary range reflects the lowest and highest potential salaries for this position; the actual salary will be based on the applicable locality pay for the selected duty location.
