About the role

The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of the club's facilities, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for members and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on club facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory of supplies.
• Assist with set-up and breakdown for club events and functions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs or projects as needed.
• Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles used in maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in building maintenance, repairs, or a related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
