Responsibilities
- General Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
- Work Orders: Respond promptly to resident service requests and complete work orders in a timely, professional manner.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and fixtures to minimize breakdowns.
- Unit Turnovers: Prepare apartments for new residents, including minor repairs, cleaning, and fixture replacements.
- Common Area Upkeep: Maintain cleanliness and functionality of hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and other shared spaces.
- Vendor Coordination: Assist with supervising third-party contractors and vendors on the property when needed.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure that the property complies with safety standards and building codes; promptly report any safety hazards.
- On-Call Duties: Participate in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical work.
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize tasks.
Pay
$25 - $28/hour
