Building Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Aid the Facilities Manager with daily maintenance tasks around the complex.
• Maintain facility assets, including buildings and equipment.
• Perform all other duties assigned to ensure the success of the complex.
• Maintain the facility grounds by mowing and cleaning up after guests.

Qualifications

• Ability to work multiple shifts when assigned.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in performing general maintenance tasks on a daily basis.
• Skilled in operating machinery such as RTV’s and forklifts safely.
• Experience and understanding of working on general plumbing, electrical, and mechanical items.
• Small general carpentry experience.
• Able to follow instructions from any full-time staff member.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as assigned.
• Accountability for work, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high standards.
• Pride in workmanship.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent service attitude and outstanding customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Routine exposure to extreme heat/cold conditions and exposure to inclement weather.
