Building Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Maintain entire warehouse building, both inside and outside, in a safe, productive, and efficient manner.
• Repair, fabricate, and weld racks, dock plates, dock doors, and overall building structure.
• Repair dock lights, interior/exterior lights, and other electric appliances.
• Respond to fire alarms.
• Repair plumbing and sprinkler systems, handle testing, contractor safety, PPM readings, and calibration of instruments.
• Operate and maintain PC controls on computers that monitor refrigeration systems and PMC 2000 software system.
• Utilize computer skills, including MS applications, for maintenance tasks.
• Work closely with others in the department, sharing responsibility in solving problems, coordinating work activities, and repairing equipment.
• Be a positive, team-oriented associate with good follow-through.
• Interact and work effectively with managers to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the shop and shop equipment through regular inspections.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
• Work various days and times based on business needs.
• Clean up work area and tools between job assignments.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
• Repair damage to industrial equipment when it occurs.
• Assist in developing and editing tasks for preventive maintenance procedures.
• Document the use of man-hours, supplies, and parts used.
• Assist with other maintenance activities, including building maintenance and refrigeration maintenance.
• Perform other duties as required, including residential remodeling, plumbing, electrical, welding, garage door repair, and low-voltage security systems/cameras.

Requirements

• Experience in residential remodeling, plumbing, electrical, welding, garage door repair, and low-voltage security systems/cameras.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
