Paid Time Off

Responsibilities
- Assist with the preventative maintenance and repairs of all mechanical equipment (i.e. air, plumbing, electrical).
- Aids in building new projects and replacing existing structures.
- Aids in troubleshooting all equipment operations (i.e. electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration).
- Maintains a valid driver’s license in your state of residence and maintains a clean driving record.
- Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members.
- Performs any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Good communications skills.
- Proficient in the use of all power and hand tools.
- Proficient in welding, blazing and soldering.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Five years experience in general building trades.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications a plus.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
- The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and outside weather conditions.
- The team member is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Skills
Must be able to paint, clean, move material, and assist or complete assigned projects that cover all aspects of the Facilities department.
