As a Maintenance Technician at CBRE, you will maintain small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, second shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems.
- Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Meet physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Solid understanding of HVAC and BAS functionality preferred.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
