Shift(s)

Monday – Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm

Pay

Base rate of $27.00/hour, plus our performance incentive programs that let you take control of your earning potential!

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect building and communicate with management regarding proper grounds keeping and general cleanup and maintenance that need to be performed to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks.
  • Cookordination and collaboration with internal departments, external vendors, and contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs, maintenance projects, material handling equipment, and renovations.
  • Inspects and approves work performed by outside contractors.
  • Conduct audit walks of facilities and audits material handling equipment to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
  • Follows established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines.
  • Aids in the development of standard operating procedures that will promote the company’s safety culture and provide guidance.
  • Collaborates with team of support staff delegating assignments based on team members skills and experience; assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments, inspects work performed by team members.
  • Provides support staff with training, coaching and feedback on performance evaluations.
  • Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
  • Member of the Food Safety Team.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What It Takes To Succeed

  • Experience – 2 years relevant building maintenance, construction, or facilities management
  • Computer Skills - Basic PC skills. Position will utilize Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, and MS Outlook).
  • Solid understanding of cost control, and financial analysis related to maintenance operations.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, and the ability to ensure compliance within company and food grade facility regulations.
  • Ability to work multiple hours in a cooler and ambient temperature warehouse environment
