About the role
The Building Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all building systems and equipment to ensure the safety and comfort of guests and staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Install, repair, and upgrade building systems as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance or related field.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with common building maintenance tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Skills
- Proficient in using building maintenance software.
