About the Role
Under general supervision performs routine custodial duties and specialized grounds maintenance; operates and services mechanical systems, and performs related work as required.
This position is characterized by a wide variety of duties — a combination of custodian, grounds person, and maintenance-type functions. A higher degree of technical skills and abilities for operation and limited maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment is required than found in other maintenance classes.

Requirements
- Two years of experience in custodial, gardening, grounds, maintenance, or related work
- Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade
- Pesticide Applicators License with proper endorsements (desirable)
Post-Offer Requirements
- DOJ and FBI Criminal Background Check
- TB Test within the last 60 days (Education Code 49406, Assembly Bill 1667)
- Complete district Mandated Reporter training, Sexual Harassment training, etc.
- Pre-Employment Physical Evaluation conducted through the District (Minimum 50 pounds lifting requirement)
Pay
$23.56 to $28.65 per hour
Schedule
8 hours per day, 5 days a week, 12 months per year
