Building and Grounds Worker

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The City is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our Public Works team as a Building & Grounds Worker. This position assists with the maintenance and upkeep of City buildings, parks, grounds, and public spaces.

• Perform general cleaning, groundskeeping, gardening, and maintenance duties
• Aid with lawn care and snow removal
• Support facility and park rental/event setup needs
• Maintain City buildings, parks, and public spaces
• Operate equipment and tools used in Public Works operations such as mowers, trimmers, snow blowers, and power tools

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior custodial, maintenance, landscaping, or grounds experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to perform physical labor and operate equipment/tools safely
