Responsibilities
- Lead and work with crew members performing building erection of pre-engineered and wood framed buildings
- Install roofing, siding, insulation, and flashing
- Cookordinate with project team to plan and execute building erection projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
- Ensure that all work is completed according to project specifications and schedules
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors as necessary
- Assist Foreman with organization of the jobsite, subcontractors, equipment, and paperwork
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations
- Train and mentor crew members on building erection techniques and best practices
- Address any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of building erection techniques and practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to travel - typically in the state of WI
- Ability to lift heavy objects (0-50lbs ground to shoulder, 0-80lbs ground to carry height)
- Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, and bend for long periods of time while performing physical labor
- Ability to operate hand/power tools and other equipment
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
