Job SummaryAs a Building Envelope Application Engineer, you will serve as SIGA's technical representative for the New England region, helping customers and internal teams successfully specify, install, and troubleshoot SIGA's high-performance building envelope systems throughout the project lifecycle. You will apply your expertise in building science, construction, and building envelopes to solve technical challenges, support field investigations, conduct product demonstrations and training, and provide practical guidance to architects, contractors, and sales teams. You will also collaborate with Product Management, Product Development, Quality Management, and Regulatory Affairs to validate new products, support testing and certification activities, communicate field feedback, and help improve existing products. This is a home-office-based position requiring frequent travel throughout New England and across North America to support job sites, customer meetings, training events, product testing, and field validation activities. Travel is expected to account for approximately 30–60% of working time. Candidates must reside in or around the Greater Boston area to effectively support regional customers and project sites. Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the technical building envelope expert for North America, ensuring products are jobsite-ready and aligned with regional and national customer practices and construction methods.Provide technical advice and application support to the sales team to resolve product or service requests or technical issues.Investigate complex building envelope and installation challenges, identify root causes and develop practical recommendations that improve project outcomes and product performance.Gather jobsite feedback, market insights, and customer input to support product improvements, training initiatives, and future product development.Create and maintain technical documentation, including application guides, technical notes, FAQs, and best practices.Deliver internal technical training and educational programs for sales teams and stakeholders.Maintain structured reporting and documentation of field observations, project activities, and technical recommendations.Support product launches and structured field validation. QualificationsDegree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science, Architecture, or a related field; or 5+ years of experience in construction, building science, project management, architecture, or engineering.Experience supporting contractors, customers, or technical field operations.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Understanding of North American construction practices, building envelope systems, and applicable industry standards.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences.Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams.Valid driver's license and current passport required.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.Willingness to travel up to 60% throughout New England and North America.
