SIGA is a global leader in high-performance building envelope systems, specializing in airtightness and durable moisture management solutions that create healthier, longer lasting, and more energy efficient buildings. In this role, you will serve as SIGA's technical expert for the New England market, helping ensure our products are successfully applied on jobsites and aligned with North American construction practices. You will provide practical guidance for contractors and the sales team to provide technical support, troubleshoot field challenges, and drive successful project outcomes. You will collaborate with Product Development, Product Management, Quality Management, and Regulatory Affairs to support product validation, compliance readiness, and market adoption. By translating field experience and customer feedback into actionable improvements, you will play a critical role in shaping future products and strengthening SIGA's leadership in high-performance building envelope construction. This role is ideal for candidates with strong construction or building envelope experience who enjoy solving technical challenges, supporting customers, and bridging the gap between the jobsite and product innovation. Candidates must reside in or around the Greater Boston area to effectively support regional customers, projects, training, and jobsite activities.
Qualifications And Competences
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science, Architecture, or a related field; or 5+ years of relevant experience in construction, building science, project management, architecture or engineering.
- Experience in construction, building envelope systems, technical field support, application engineering, or related technical roles.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building envelope systems, waterproofing, air barriers, and moisture management principles.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot field issues and develop practical solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver technical training and communicate effectively with contractors, architects, and internal teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and technical reporting.
- Valid driver's license and current passport required.
- Willingness to travel throughout New England and North America as needed.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical building envelope expert for North America, ensuring products are jobsite-ready and aligned with regional and national customer practices and construction methods.
- Provide technical advice and application support to the sales team to resolve product or service requests or technical issues.
- Investigate complex building envelope and installation challenges, identify root causes and develop practical recommendations that improve project outcomes and product performance.
- Gather jobsite feedback, market insights, and customer input to support product improvements, training initiatives, and future product development.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including application guides, technical notes, FAQs, and best practices.
- Deliver internal technical training and educational programs for sales teams and stakeholders.
- Maintain structured reporting and documentation of field observations, project activities, and technical recommendations.
- Support product launches and structured field validation.
