About the role
Join ISS and become part of something bigger! Operate, maintain, and perform repairs on all building systems to include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting equipment and controls, Heating Ventilation and Air Condition (HVAC), Air Handlers, refrigeration equipment, and various other mechanical, electrical, and building systems in such a manner as to ensure optimal conditions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair building equipment including: chilled water loops, pumps, actuators, boilers, chillers and air compressors
- Respond in a professional, polite, and helpful manner when dealing with customers
- Respond to after-hour unscheduled emergencies as needed
- Coordinate with subcontractor and vendors as needed for the effective and safe accomplishment of maintenance and project work
- Perform other tasks as instructed including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, general building maintenance, and assists other trades as necessary
Requirements
- Universal 608 certification required, North American Technical Excellence (NATE) certification preferred
- Experience with refrigeration, boilers, air compressors, and overall mechanical systems
- Experience with chiller operation including AHU’s, actuators and pumps
- Knowledge of electrical components up to 480 volt 3 phase
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in O&M and/or building Engineering roles
- Experience with subcontractor and vendor contract management
- Experience with capacity planning and reporting
- Able to use hand tools, test equipment, and knowledge of maintenance shop practices with previous experience at the Journeyman level (Electrical and Mechanical Equipment systems)
Qualifications
- Able to use personal computers, MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Able to read, analyze, write procedure manuals, and interpret general business periodicals, journals, technical, procedures, or governmental regulations
- Able to effectively communicate through cell phone, email, conference calls, texting tools
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Work Order Control procedures

- Support the team, and report to the Chief Engineer
- Communicate effectively with colleagues within the Business Unit and across the company

Pay
The hourly pay range for this position is $39.00 per hour - $42.00 per hour.
Schedule
The work hours for this position are Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
