Building Enclosure Field & Testing Technician

About the role

Gale Associates, Inc. is seeking a Field & Testing Technician to join our Rockland, MA office. The position includes conducting specialized building enclosure services such as performance testing services and forensic services of window, curtain wall, storefront, doors, walls, and roofs, as well as smoke tests, electronic leak detection tests, infrared surveys, and other building envelope testing and construction observations.

Requirements

• A pertinent post-secondary education certificate in the construction field.
• Certification as an RRC, RRO, or RWC is preferable, as is an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in construction technology, engineering, or architecture.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience with construction monitoring, specifically roofing, windows, waterproofing, and façade systems, or building enclosure system testing and/or inspections.
• Excellent writing and documentation skills.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office and Outlook are required).
• Local travel is required with possible support to regional offices.

Pay

Salary range: $66,500–$78,000 annually.
