Building Controls Specialist

This is a 1-year contract position (project set to continue until around 2030) located in Marlborough, MA with a hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.

About the role

Provides day-to-day project coordination and technical support for Building Management System (Client) projects. Supports issue triage and resolution, project implementation activities, and the identification and management of New Store Client deficiencies and standards to ensure consistent, compliant, and successful deployments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities and implementation tasks.
• Triage project issues and support timely resolution.
• Support Client deployments, upgrades, commissioning, and system enhancements.
• Identify, document, track, and support resolution of New Store Client deficiencies.
• Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Client standards for new store construction and upgrade projects.
• Assist with field validation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with established Client standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, field teams, and internal stakeholders to address deficiencies and support corrective actions.
• Provide technical and operational support to the Field Engineer Building Controls Supervisor and Field Engineering Project Manager as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Relevant building control systems experience (either hands-on maintenance or coordination).

Pay

$30 - 40/hr depending on experience.
