Responsibilities

• Assist with installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, analyzing and/or maintaining Building Automation Systems (BAS), remote connections and system malfunctions.
• Respond to alarms and alerts.
• Ensure safe and effective operations and working environments.
• Monitor all critical temperature and humidity devices, such as meters and gauges.
• Assist with inspecting and calibrating devices.
• Assist other caregivers with inventory.
• Record data for sensor and control devices related to digital and pneumatic systems.
• Work at other Cleveland Clinic locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of exposure to and demonstrated understanding of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) or building automation systems (BAS).
• Strong customer service background.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Physical Requirements

• Full‑body motion including bending, stooping, stretching, and climbing ladders.
• Dexterity and strength sufficient to operate required tools and machinery.
• Ability to lift and carry machinery/equipment weighing 25–100 lb and assist with lifting weights exceeding 100 lb.
• Color acuity sufficient to distinguish color‑coded signage and systems.
• Use of personal protective equipment as required, following standard precautions.

Schedule

Days: Monday – Friday, 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., with the ability to travel locally in Northeast Ohio as needed.

Pay

Hourly rate range: $17.25 – $26.31 (range reflects anticipated range for new hires; actual compensation will consider work history, experience, skill set, and education). The range does not include shift differentials, overtime, or the value of Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package.
