Building Automation Systems Estimator

About the role

You will utilize computer estimating systems and related software to accurately estimate plan/spec and design/build HVAC systems. You'll maintain comprehensive estimating logs and unit costs for all projects, establish and nurture vendor relationships, conduct site surveys, and participate in pre-bid walkthroughs. Collaboration with sales and project management teams is essential to ensure projects are executed within budget and align with plans and specifications.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in business or engineering
• 2-5 years of estimating experience in the HVAC industry with a proven track record
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documents
• Knowledge of different types of HVAC systems and their components
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Thorough understanding of related trades for coordinating various project estimates
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and proficient computer skills
