About the role

The Building Automation Systems (BAS) Programmer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining building automation systems using Niagara software. This position requires a strong background in programming and a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement building automation systems using Niagara software
• Develop and maintain control logic for HVAC, lighting, and security systems
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure system integration and functionality
• Perform system testing and debugging to ensure reliability and efficiency
• Document system design and configuration for future reference and maintenance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building automation systems programming
• Strong knowledge of Niagara 4 software and its associated tools
• Experience with security systems and access control
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Security clearance required

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C#, Python, or similar programming languages
• Experience with SQL databases
• Knowledge of PLCs and their integration with building automation systems
• Understanding of building energy management systems (BEMS)
