Job Details

A Texas-based building automation system software and controls contractor that specializes in the installation, repair, and service of BACnet DDC control and energy management systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Review plans, specifications, and project scopes to develop BAS control drawings
  • Create submittal packages including control diagrams, sequences of operation, device schedules, I/O diagrams, and bills of material
  • Cookordinate with sales, project managers, engineers, and contractors to stay aligned on scope, timelines, and milestones
  • Select controllers, sensors, valves, actuators, and other control devices
  • Update drawings throughout the project based on feedback and field changes
  • Support material ordering to keep projects on schedule
  • Communicate with installation teams and support engineering-to-field handoff
  • Complete final as-built documentation at project closeout

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience designing or engineering BAS / HVAC control systems
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical, and basic electrical systems
  • Experience with BACnet networks (MS/TP and IP)
  • Familiarity integrating BAS with equipment such as VFDs, RTUs, and packaged systems
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Visio
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced construction environments
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and expand technical skills
