Building Automation System Specialist I

What will you do?

  1. Request and deliver material as required
  2. Aid in coordinating subcontractors when needed
  3. Onsite validation and commissioning of construction projects
  4. Diagnose and rectify system issues
  5. Load and test system databases
  6. Back up and tune systems
  7. Checkout and startup control systems
  8. Aid in the creation of graphic interfaces
  9. Aid in project documentation
  10. Coordinate and communicate with internal and external team members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Associate’s degree in related fields (Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC), or related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational, and customer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Basic understanding of networks
  • Good conceptual aptitude
  • Good understanding or interest in pursuing a career in Building Automation (HVAC, Access Control, CCTV, or other building systems)
  • Product or industry knowledge is highly desired

Pay and Schedule

The expected pay range for this position is USD 54,400 - USD 81,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives.

Schedule

This is a full-time position.
