Building Automation Project Manager

About the Role

High-level professional with solid Building Automation System (BAS) knowledge and highly developed technical expertise in Field Service. This role provides full ownership of all assigned projects, scheduling and coordinating execution profitably and timely while driving project success through compliance with industry standards and specifications. Effective communication with internal and external resources is essential, along with a demonstrated commitment to the HVAC, BAS, and construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects following established processes and provide direction to assisting Project Engineers.
• Complete projects per contractual requirements within budget, on time, and with a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the successful financial performance of assigned projects, including project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections, and monthly project portfolio cost re-estimation.
• Manage the delivery of contracted scope within budget and secure change orders for all scope expansions.
• Order and coordinate project materials and shared resources; identify constraints and assist with corrective action plans.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors, issue subcontracts, identify execution issues, and take corrective action.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of Project Management experience.
• 2+ years of experience working with Building Automation Systems.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with prior experience in Construction or HVAC (preferred).
• Experience in risk management, project planning, estimation, and monitoring.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, MS Teams, and OneDrive.
• PMP Certification (preferred).
• Ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of project financial reporting.

Pay

The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 and $158,000.00. Factors affecting pay within this range include skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may also be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
