Builder Forward Specialist

About the role

The Builder Forward Specialist is responsible for pricing, committing, tracking, and billing builder forward commitments. This position also serves as the point of contact for branches and joint ventures (JVs) for all matters related to builder forward commitments.

Responsibilities

• Price and commit builder forward commitments.
• Invoice and track payments for commitments.
• Maintain forward commitment data in QRM for the hedge.
• Provide reporting for Secondary, Capital Markets, and branches/JVs.
• Price, execute, and invoice extensions at the commitment level.
• Assist branches/JVs in maintaining commitments through loan moves, extensions, and pair-offs.
• Track and bill commitment overages.
• Engage with branches/JVs to provide support for builder relationships.
• Improve efficiencies in processes associated with the position.

Requirements

• 2 years of prior experience in Secondary Marketing or Mortgage Capital Markets.
• Prior experience with builder forwards preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams.
• Organized with strong problem-solving, analytical, and multi-tasking skills.
• High attention to detail.
