Key Responsibilities
- Transport and arrange hot and cold food items from the kitchen to the buffet, creating a visually appealing display that’s easy for guests to access.
- Regularly check food levels and temperatures, keeping dishes full and safe for consumption, while promptly removing any items as needed.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize the buffet line and workspace after each meal session, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Provide a warm welcome, greet guests by name whenever possible, and assist with any requests to enhance their dining experience.
- Cookery Collaboration: Coordinate with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth buffet service.
- Organize and return all equipment and supplies to designated storage areas after each session, keeping the workspace organized and ready for the next shift.
