Buffet Attendant

About the role

The Buffet Attendant assists with buffet food prep and service duties as assigned by the Sous Chef, including cleaning and refilling buffet items at the pasta bar and carving station, while maintaining cleanliness and appearance standards in the buffet area. This role also assists in the preparation and presentation of all hot and cold food items and upholds company food safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Familiarity with buffet-style food and beverage operations
• Must be at least 18 years old
• 1 year of food and beverage experience (preferred)

Schedule

• Days follow the Sales schedule, which changes with the season
• Currently working Saturday through Tuesday; off Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• 32 to 40 hours per week, with possibility of overtime

Responsibilities

• Uphold standards of conduct, cleanliness, food display and preparation quality, sanitation, and safety
• Restock and maintain buffet area
• Serve food at pasta bar and carving station
• Assist with daily maintenance, cleaning, and operational tasks in kitchen
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain restaurant equipment, utensils, and tools
• Load/unload trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food
• Provide excellent customer service
• Other duties as assigned by management
