Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, investigate, document, and resolve issues or concerns with pick totes using WM and Dematic systems.
  • Communicate with Digital Pick and Pack floors.
  • Manage flow of totes to sorters as directed by the Pack Floor.
  • Solve problems and troubleshoot systematic issues (Dematic and WM) and mechanical issues (e.g., jams, line stoppages).
  • Develop, create, and analyze detailed logs of any issues with problem totes.

Qualifications

  • High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in the use of mainframe and other systems, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and set priorities.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to accurately work with statistical data and identify inconsistencies and problem areas.
  • A proven problem solver.
  • Knowledge of WM and Dematic Sort Director.

Physical Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distant vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
  • Ability to work on a computer and mobile phone for multiple hours, with frequent interruptions.
  • Required to travel in elevators or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors.
  • May operate in a professional office environment and routinely use standard office equipment.
  • May operate in a warehouse environment subject to inside environmental conditions, with protection from weather but not necessarily from temperature changes.
  • May be subject to loud noise due to conveyor systems and material handling equipment; routinely uses standard personal protective equipment.

This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume.
