If you’re motivated, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career supporting moving vans and box trucks customers rely on, join the Avis Budget Group team supporting Budget Truck operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and operational support to fleet maintenance and rental operations.
  • Manage inventory, process purchase orders and invoices, maintain vehicle and fleet records, coordinate vehicle movements, and support vendor and supply accounts.
  • Depending on location, source automotive parts, tools, and supplies for box trucks and cargo vans, assist with onboarding and training coordination, and provide administrative support to on-site leadership.
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams and external partners to help ensure efficient operations.
  • May be required to drive a Budget Truck on public roads to support operational or fleet needs.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B, or C)
  • Ability to obtain DOT medical clearance
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in office clerical work, automotive operations, or familiarity with automotive parts and tools (auto technical school coursework is a plus)
  • Willingness to work in or near a mechanical shop with moderate noise levels and occasionally outdoors
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; continuously sit, stand, bend, reach, walk, kneel; get up and down from a seated position; enter, exit, climb into and out of vehicles; and drive cargo vans and box trucks in all weather conditions
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
  • This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
