About the role
Credence supports the B-52 Stratofortress Division (AFLCMC WBD) at Tinker AFB, OK. The B-52 Stratofortress division is crucial for modernizing and sustaining the B-52 fleet, ensuring operational safety, and supporting multiple combatant command operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial management support in areas such as financial analysis, cost estimating, and program integration.
- Support the F/B Directorate Chief Financial Officer and the entire F/B PEO portfolio.
- Keep senior management informed of program progress and advise on significant financial developments.
- Determine financial recommendations for unresolved or questionable problems and perform follow-up.
- Prepare and submit reprogramming packages and realignment requests.
- Identify and recommend sources of program shortfalls.
- Perform daily verification of forecast accuracy in Web CCaR.
- Complete a monthly review of MIPRs and MORDs to ensure validity and attach required documentation.
- Track and monitor financial taskings, consolidate responses, and provide inputs for directorate review.
- Assist with cost estimate waiver documentation.
- Plan and execute PMA funding, identify requirements, and develop funding strategies.
- Monitor expiring year funds and build, consolidate, and report end-of-year close-out financial data and reports.
- Participate in discussions and meetings, serve on panels or committees, and provide written and oral reports.
- Identify and resolve conflicts through discussions with responsible members.
- Initiate and manage special projects and assignments.
- Review processes and products for compliance with financial regulations and directives.
- Maintain and update forecasts in Web CCaR.
- Generate financial charts from Web CCaR.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field with 10 years of experience in the DoD, or
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 12 years of experience in the DoD, including 5 years in the DoD.
- 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, including 8 years in the DoD.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as MOCAS, GAFS, SMART, PMRT, CRIS, ABSS, DTS, SDW, EDA, FMSuite, CCaR, and Web CCaR.
- Expertise in monitoring USAF funds via Congressional actions, program authorization, and budget authority using the USAF Congressional domain and AFM System.
- Knowledge of financial management guidance and regulations, including FMR 7000.14R, AFI 65-601 Vol. 1, Budget Guidance & Procedures, AFI 65-601 Vol. 2, Budget Management for Operations, AFI 65-508, Cost Analysis Guidance and Procedures, AFMAN 65-604, Appropriations Symbols and Budget Codes, and GAO, Fiscal Principles of Federal Appropriation Law.
- Working knowledge of MIPR and MORD policy and procedure.
Qualifications
- Secret clearance with a Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field, or
- Clearance with a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, including 5 years in the DoD.
