Budget Analyst

About the role

Performs procedural and technical work involving preparation, submission and ongoing execution of assigned portion of the Operations and Maintenance budget encompassing several independent operating multiple-purpose hydroelectric power producing civil works projects as well as dredging, Plant Replacement and Improvement Program (PRIP), and Emergency Management.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and submits assigned portion of the Operations and Maintenance budget
• Executes ongoing execution of assigned portion of the Operations and Maintenance budget
• Manages and oversees dredging operations
• Supports Plant Replacement and Improvement Program (PRIP)
• Contributes to Emergency Management efforts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in budget preparation and execution
• Technical knowledge of hydroelectric power producing civil works projects
• Ability to manage and oversee dredging operations
• Knowledge of Plant Replacement and Improvement Program (PRIP)
• Understanding of Emergency Management principles

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Salary range is $50,000 - $70,000 annually.
