Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project budgets for residential construction projects.
- Analyze material, labor, and subcontractor costs.
- Review plans, specifications, and project requirements to support budget development.
- Prepare cost estimates and budget projections for new projects.
- Monitor project costs and identify budget variances.
- Work closely with purchasing, construction, and operations teams to ensure accurate cost forecasting.
- Auxiliary in evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing.
- Generate reports and recommendations to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
- Support management with financial analysis and project cost tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in budgeting, estimating, purchasing, accounting, construction, or cost analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and project documentation is a plus.
- Experience in residential construction is preferred but not required.
