Brow and Lash Artist (Licensed Esthetician/Cosmetologist)

About the role

Babyface Brows is expanding, and we have a position on our team - where performing brow grooming, bleaching, tinting, lamination, and other beauty services (lash lifts, mini facials, etc.) with exceptional customer service is your core responsibility. As the Beauty Specialist, you will also assist in daily receptionist and salon operations tasks. We believe that with proper eyebrow shaping, even busy women can enjoy a low-maintenance beauty routine. As part of the Babyface Brows team, you’ll be the expert interacting with our community and spreading the love for natural and artistic eyebrows. Think of yourself as the eyebrow expert - creating a fun, uplifting space for clients to get their eyebrows custom-mapped with precision and care.

Responsibilities

• Providing brow grooming services to clients
• Keeping your work station clean and organized
• Assisting with front desk duties (appointment scheduling, customer service, phone calls)
• Growing revenue specifically coming from brow shaping services
• Assisting in keeping our community excited and engaged during holiday promotions
• Creating and editing Before and After client photos for your own designated Instagram account, and posting after each client
• Taking continuing education classes provided by the company, and staying up to date with current technologies and beauty trends

Requirements

• Must possess a current Cosmetology or Esthetician license
• Gentle, steady hands with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable safely using precision beauty tools and sharp instruments, including tweezers
• Must be positive and uplifting
• Must be a superstar at caring for clients and have an affinity for beauty and wellness
• Must be dependable, eager to learn, and be open to feedback
• Must be able to communicate professionally over the phone, email, and text

Qualifications

• An eye for beauty, art, and symmetry is an asset
• Experience using Instagram and photo editing apps such as Canva also an asset, but not essential

Pay & Schedule

• Base pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Additional compensation: Tips, performance bonuses, and commission. Our Beauty Specialists typically earn $27+/hour in total compensation (based on current team earnings)
• Part Time. Expected hours: 18 – 35 per week
• Must be available one weekend day + two additional days
• Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
