About the role
We are seeking experienced Broadband Technicians for the Omaha Metro area. This role involves installing and repairing internet, phone, and TV services for both business and residential customers, while also serving as a brand ambassador to provide exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, splicing, and repair of internet, phone, and TV services over coax, copper, and fiber systems.
- Help maintain mainline coax and fiber systems to ensure high performance.
- Actively promote company products and services while delivering outstanding support.
- Interpret and complete staking sheets, work orders, maps, and cable counts.
- Operate company vehicles and equipment (bucket trucks), work non-standard hours (including nights/weekends/call-outs), and travel for training when needed.
Requirements
- Experience: 1-7 years in a relevant field.
- Able to work rotating weekend shifts and on-call (required).
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and comfortable working outside under various weather conditions.
- Strong verbal/written communication, troubleshooting, typing, and customer relations skills.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of electronics and testing equipment (EXFO Light meters, volt-ohm meters).
- Fiber fusion splicing and provisioning experience is a plus, but training is provided.
