A leading law firm’s New York office seeks a corporate associate with broad-based transactional experience. The practice focuses on private equity M&A, financings, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and investment fund restructuring. This role sits within a tax-integrated corporate group and offers exposure to a variety of complex corporate transactions in a collaborative environment.

Key Qualifications

• 4–6 years of corporate transactional experience
• Experience in private equity, fund financings, and related areas preferred
• Strong academic credentials from a top U.S. or Canadian law school
• Prior law firm experience required
• Interest in diverse transactional work, including tax-related matters

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with private equity M&A and financing transactions
• Support joint venture and strategic alliance documentation and negotiations
• Participate in fund restructuring and corporate governance matters
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including tax specialists
• Provide strategic advice on complex transactional matters
