About the role
The Technical Leader (TL) is accountable for advancing technical excellence, strengthening quality, and building technical capability across the Bridges discipline within the Infrastructure Business Unit (BOU).
Responsibilities
- Advance technical excellence across the discipline by defining, standardizing, and reinforcing technical practices.
- Promote consistent application of QA/QC processes, design standards, and technical review practices across projects.
- Lead resolution of technical issues, ensuring appropriate risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure consistency in technical approaches across regions and Business Centers (BCs).
- Embed technical expertise into project delivery by collaborating with delivery leadership.
- Build and lead a connected, high-performing technical community across the discipline.
- Drive adoption of digital tools, advanced engineering methods, and innovative delivery approaches.
- Support innovation, digital tools, and standardized practices.
- Develop and sustain technical capability across the discipline.
- Support strategic hiring to address capability and capacity gaps.
- Engage with academic and industry networks to support the talent pipeline.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline.
- Typically 15+ years of relevant experience.
- Recognized technical expertise within an infrastructure discipline (Bridges).
- Proven experience in complex project delivery and technical leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to lead across regions and influence without direct authority.

$166,300.00 - $257,800.00 Annually
