Responsibilities
- Act as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, or borrower's counsel on diverse public finance matters.
- Advise clients on state and federal tax laws, securities regulations, and Connecticut municipal statutes.
- Interface with senior stakeholders, government officials, and financial institutions.
Requirements
- 8–15 years of dedicated private practice in public finance or municipal bond law.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and oral communication skills for high-stakes transactional work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience structuring and closing low-income housing transactions, including those involving federal and state tax credits (LIHTC).
- Active and in good standing with the Connecticut State Bar.
