Breast Surgical Oncologist - Assistant Professor/DOQ
About the role
The Division of Surgical Oncology in the Department of Surgery at the University of Utah's Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine, in partnership with the Huntsman Cancer Institute, is seeking a full-time Breast Surgical Oncologist to join the section of four surgeons in the Division of Surgical Oncology.
Candidates must have completed a fellowship in breast surgery and have a strong commitment to clinical trials and translational research, aligning with the academic mission. The successful candidate should be enthusiastic about leadership roles, quality improvement, and clinical program development.
Responsibilities
- Assume leadership roles within the breast surgical section
- Drive quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to clinical program development
- Participate in clinical trials and translational research
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to advance regional and national reputation of the program
