Job Overview
The UC College of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty position in the Division of Surgical Oncology. This position is part of an active Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Program within the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center, which is accredited by multiple organizations.
Essential Functions
- Responsibilities for the clinical, research, and teaching activities for surgical trainees (residents and fellows) and medical students.
- Commitment to an academic career combining outstanding patient care with excellent teaching and impactful research activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Ohio medical license
- MD/DO or equivalent degree
- Completion of ACGME-accredited residency in General Surgery
- Completion of Surgical Oncology or Breast Oncology fellowship
Additional Qualifications
- Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Surgery
- Commitment to teaching and research
- Focus in comprehensive Breast Surgery with both clinical and research interests
- Interest in clinical, health outcomes, or translational research
