Assistant/Associate/Full Research Professor of Surgery – Surgical Oncology

About the role

The Indiana University School of Medicine’s Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology, is seeking an Assistant Research Professor to join the lab of Dr. C. Max Schmidt. This is a full-time position and salary will be commensurate with past experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on various projects to study mechanisms of pancreatic cancer initiation and progression
• Assist with ongoing projects and lab duties, including assisting with running the tissue bank
• Perform services necessary to implement the education programs and academic objectives of the Department and the Division of Surgical Oncology

Qualifications

• PhD and at least one year of postdoctoral research experience
