Breast Surgery Specialist

About the Role

A fellowship-trained Breast Surgeon is sought to join an established Breast Center within an independent, physician-aligned hospital. This role involves 100% breast surgery with no general surgery duties, leadership of the Breast Surgery program and High-Risk Breast Clinic, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform 100% breast surgery with no general surgery duties
• Lead and grow the Breast Surgery program and High-Risk Breast Clinic
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Breast Imaging, Plastic Surgery, Nurse Navigation, and Survivorship
• Manage outpatient care with minimal inpatient responsibilities
• Utilize one dedicated OR block day weekly, with additional time as volume increases
• Support program development and community-based care initiatives

Requirements

• Board Certified/Eligible in General Surgery
• Fellowship training in Breast Surgery
• Experience practicing independently and leading initiatives
