About the role

You will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will join a growing breast surgery division with the opportunity to contribute to the development of a service-oriented breast surgery program across Salt Lake County.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide quality care and excellent patient experience.
• Contribute to the development of a service-oriented breast surgery program across Salt Lake County.
• Practice at both LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City and Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, along with hospital privileges at each site.
• Provide exclusive breast surgery care with no general surgery or ER call expectations.
• Manage your own patient panel, with shared coverage across the breast surgery team for time off.
• Participate in tumor boards and specialty breast cancer meetings.

Requirements

• Fellowship-training in Breast Surgical Oncology required.
• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery.
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.

Pay

• A guaranteed base annual salary.
• Additional productivity & quality incentives available.
• $30,000 sign-on bonus.
• Up to $20,000 in relocation assistance (if eligible).

Schedule

• At least two dedicated OR block days and two clinic days per week.
• Practice at both LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City and Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.
