Responsibilities
- Delivers High-Quality Patient Care and Documentation: Conducts examinations, provides services, and maintains meticulous medical records in accordance with all policies, including those for managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Adheres to Regulatory and Ethical Standards: Strictly complies with all federal and state reimbursement plans, ethical and religious directives of sponsoring entities, and the Hospital's comprehensive policies, procedures, and medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations.
- Engages in Quality Improvement and Peer Review: Participates in clinical and quality improvement initiatives, contributes to physician peer review, utilization review, and serves on medical staff committees as assigned to enhance overall service delivery.
- Contributes to Operational Excellence and Professional Growth: Advises on operational matters, including personnel, business oversight, and equipment evaluation, while maintaining professional competence through continuous medical education and board certification, staying abreast of the latest medical developments.
Requirements
- Board-eligible/Board-certified in Breast Surgery or Surgical Oncology
- Active or eligible license in the state of Utah
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of breast surgery care principles
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
