About the role

AdventHealth Medical Group Breast Surgery at Apopka and Winter Garden is seeking a dynamic and experienced board-certified general surgeon with fellowship training in breast surgery to join an extremely busy practice in the Orlando area. This is an employed opportunity through AdventHealth Medical Group.

Responsibilities

• Fellowship training in breast surgery is required along with experience in a multi-disciplinary clinic setting
• Strong work ethic and desire to work in a high-volume practice
• Desire to work in a collegial environment
• Opportunity Offers Block time in the O/R
• Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Clinic
• Medical office space located on the hospital campus
• Marketing support to establish new patient base
• Business operations support allowing the physician to focus time on patient care

Requirements

A strong emphasis will be placed on evidence based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. Ideal candidate would have five years’ experience, strong communication skills, and fit within the mission and vision of AdventHealth.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in General Surgery (ABMS or AOA) is required
