Breast Radiologist Physician

Job Summary

Your daily work will involve compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, interpreting studies, performing procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic care journey of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, interpreting studies, performing procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic care journey of our patients.
• Identify and diagnose breast pathologies with expertise.
• Collaborate with oncologists and surgeons in weekly breast conferences to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary patient care.
• Utilize home workstations, with the option to read remotely after hours or on weekends, to increase production and maintain work-life balance.
• Collaborate with Physician Group's resources, including supply chain expertise, technology implementation trainers, contracting experts, centralized credentialing, financial reporting/modeling, and communication, to optimize operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology & fellowship trained in Breast Imaging.
• Successful completion of a residency or fellowship commensurate with the area of specialty.
• Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the applicable state.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency ("DEA") registration.
• Board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty (Diagnostic Radiology with Breast Imaging fellowship), by a board acceptable to the Hospital.
• Able to obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institutions.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in breast imaging and intervention.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with a variety of breast imaging modalities and interventional procedures.
