Responsibilities

• Maintain timely, accurate, and detailed medical records using Epic.
• Prescribe medication or therapy when necessary.
• Recommend lifestyle changes to improve quality of life.
• Explain medical procedures and test results to patients.
• Develop a plan of care for patients.
• Consult with other doctors to address patient-specific needs.
• Serve on hospital Medical Staff and related committees.
• Participate in tumor boards and multi-disciplinary clinics.
• Work towards improving patient satisfaction scores and team member goals.
• Engage in business development and marketing activities.
• Understand the physician practice environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility.
• Knowledge of computer systems and applications, particularly Epic.
• New graduates or experienced candidates will be considered.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and able to make sound decisions.
• Detail-oriented and alert.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and assist in lifting patients.
