Breast Imaging Radiologist (MD/DO) - Per Diem - UNC Health Lumberton
About the Role
UNC Health Southeastern is seeking a per diem Breast Imaging Radiologist (MD/DO) to join the team in Lumberton, NC. This position can be employed or a 1099-contract opportunity. This is a dedicated Diagnostic Breast Imaging Specialist role and requires fellowship training or extensive experience in breast imaging. The specialist will focus on the interpretation of breast imaging studies, including mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, as well as perform image-guided breast procedures such as biopsies and localizations.
Position Details
- Will perform procedures in the radiology department, as well as mammography and procedural work in the Breast Center
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; dayshift only and no call schedule
- 100% breast, no diagnostic work

Qualifications
- MD/DO
- BC/BE in Breast Imaging Radiology, or Diagnostic/Procedural, with extensive experience performing breast procedural work
