About the role

Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Radiologist at Cambridge Health Alliance.

Responsibilities

  • Practice breast imaging and diagnostic radiology using CHA’s state of the art equipment including MRI, CT, ultrasound, 3D mammography, DR, bone densitometry, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy.
  • Provide full service breast imaging and procedures at all three CHA hospital campuses: Cambridge Hospital, Somerville Hospital, and Everett Hospital.
  • Imaging services are fully integrated with PACS, EMR (Epic), and voice recognition software.
  • On-call assignments are structured as a late shift rotation with night call coverage provided by a teleradiology service starting at 8pm weeknights and 6pm weekends and holidays.
  • The position carries a Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications and commitment to teaching responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Experience in breast imaging and diagnostic radiology.
  • Knowledge of and experience with CHA’s state of the art equipment and systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
  • Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications and commitment to teaching responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Massachusetts.
  • Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Experience in breast imaging and diagnostic radiology.
  • Knowledge of and experience with CHA’s state of the art equipment and systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
