About the role
Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Radiologist at Cambridge Health Alliance.
Responsibilities
- Practice breast imaging and diagnostic radiology using CHA’s state of the art equipment including MRI, CT, ultrasound, 3D mammography, DR, bone densitometry, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy.
- Provide full service breast imaging and procedures at all three CHA hospital campuses: Cambridge Hospital, Somerville Hospital, and Everett Hospital.
- Imaging services are fully integrated with PACS, EMR (Epic), and voice recognition software.
- On-call assignments are structured as a late shift rotation with night call coverage provided by a teleradiology service starting at 8pm weeknights and 6pm weekends and holidays.
- The position carries a Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications and commitment to teaching responsibilities.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Experience in breast imaging and diagnostic radiology.
- Knowledge of and experience with CHA’s state of the art equipment and systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Massachusetts.
- Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Experience in breast imaging and diagnostic radiology.
- Knowledge of and experience with CHA’s state of the art equipment and systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
