About the role

Join our well-established and thriving Department of Radiology at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA). Practice breast imaging using state-of-the-art equipment including MRI, CT, ultrasound, 3D mammography, DR, bone densitometry, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy. Imaging services are provided at all three CHA hospital campuses: Cambridge Hospital, Somerville Hospital, and Everett Hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-service breast imaging and procedures
  • Collaborate with the breast center
  • Work within a PACS, EMR (Epic), and Abridge environment
  • Participate in a teleradiology service covering night shifts
  • Teach at Harvard Medical School (HMS) if appointed

Requirements

  • Fellowship trained and ABR certified/eligible
  • Experience with a variety of imaging modalities
  • Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in Massachusetts
  • Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with medical terminology and clinical documentation

Pay

The full-time total compensation salary range of $525,000-$575,000 is comprised of a guaranteed base salary based on years of experience plus an annual incentive.

Schedule

On-call assignments are structured as a late shift rotation. Night call coverage is provided by a teleradiology service starting at 8pm weeknights and 6pm weekends and holidays.

Harvard Medical School Appointment

The position carries a Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications and commitment to teaching responsibilities.
