Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Radiologist
About the role
Breast Imaging and Diagnostic Radiologist positions at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) require candidates to have a strong background in breast imaging and diagnostic radiology. These roles utilize CHA's advanced equipment such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, 3D mammography, DR, bone densitometry, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-service breast imaging and procedures at CHA’s three hospital campuses: Cambridge Hospital, Somerville Hospital, and Everett Hospital.
- Work in a fully integrated environment with PACS, EMR (Epic), and voice recognition software.
- Engage in on-call assignments structured as a late shift rotation, with night call coverage provided by a teleradiology service starting at 8pm weeknights and 6pm weekends and holidays.
- Carry a Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications, and commitment to teaching responsibilities.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have a medical degree, be licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts, and hold a board certification in radiology. Experience in breast imaging and diagnostic radiology is preferred.
